We have our annual Ender Bender on the 25th of December, 2011 from 9:30 AM onwards. Please land up on time as it will help us get the event going early. We plan to have a day long quizzing session from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Madras Boat Club, RA Puram, Chennai. There will be beer, soft drinks, refreshments served through our the day and lunch, not to mention a day filled with quizzes. The cost per head will be Rs. 650. Attendants are requested to bring 10-20 questions per head – longer quizzes are welcome as well.

The Club has a dress code which needs to be adhered to. People not dressed suitably might not be allowed beyond the reception. So please note:
Dress code: Business Casuals, T Shirts or Shirts with Collars, full length trousers, floaters or shoes
Clothing not permissible: Collarless T-shirts, sleeveless shirts, shorts, rubber slippers, kurta-pyjama.

We plan to have the Ender Bender – our annual day long quizzing session on December 25, 2011. The quiz is to be held from 10 AM to 5 PM on December 25, Sunday, at Boat Club, Chennai. The cost per person usually works out to Rs. 500. This will include drinks (beer and soft drinks), refreshments served throughout the day as well as lunch. The Oasis Quiz Lone Wolf Edition is the annual lone wolf quiz conducted by ELAS, the quizzing club at BITS Pilani.

It will be a 90 minute 120 question written solo quiz, held
simultaneously across various venues across the country. The quiz is open to all. The college-level winner in each venue will be invited to Pilani during Oasis, the annual cultural festival of BITS-Pilani to participate in a mega showdown. Prizes for college category and open category winners. The winner here will be crowned champion and, needless to say, will win lots of money and pride and honour.

The annual QFI Grandmaster Quiz – a lone wolf quiz (for solo participants) will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011. The quiz will be conducted by last year’s winner, Rajiv Rai. The quiz will start at 2 PM on August 13, at the Department of Management Studies (DOMS), IIT Madras (near Gajendra Circle.)

Participation is open to all QFI members. If you are presently not a member, you can also enroll at the venue by paying our annual subscription fee of Rs. 150.

It’s time to dust off those quizzing hats. The Quiz Foundation of India (Chennai) will conduct a daylong quiz fest on Sunday, August 14, 2011. QFI’s members will conduct three quizzes – an audio-visual quiz, a sports quiz, and a general quiz – that are open for public participation.

The QFI is one of the oldest quizzing communities in India, and so the QFI Open Quiz is one of the most entertaining, informative quizzes around. We have three full quizzes lined up this year, to cater to quizzers of diverse interests.

The quizzes are sponsored by a host of sponsors: Landmark, RmKV, Indian Terrain, C-Cube Sports Academy, BTechGuru.com, 136.1 Yoga Studio, and DilSeBol.com.
