QFI Chennai & Zephyr Quiz League (ZQL) are happy to jointly announce a double dose of quizzing on Sunday, May 14th, 2023. QFI will conduct a team quiz and ZQL will be hosting its 1st offline ZQL Solo Written Quiz.

QFI Invitational Quiz

QFI will conduct the QFI Invitational Quiz quiz for teams of up to 3 members across multiple cities on the morning of May 14th. This open quiz will serve as a preliminary round for qualification to the QFI Invitational Quiz finals to be held during the QFIesta quiz festival in Chennai in August.
The top 5 teams by score across the cities will be invited to take part in the finals, to be held during QFIesta, QFI’s annual quiz festival, on August 13 and 14th. Three more teams for the finals will be selected through a preliminary round to be held during QFIesta.

There is no registration fee to take part in the quiz. The quiz clubs organizing the quiz in your city may charge a nominal fee to cover costs.
Format: Questions on PPT, written answers, proctored by a volunteer. There will be audios and videos and quiz clubs should venues accordingly.
Caveat: Only clubs which can conduct the quiz on this date at this time, and can arrange a proctor and a venue with A/V facilities and mobile phone/internet access (for distribution of passwords before the quiz etc.) will be eligible to participate.
ZQL Solo Written Quiz

ZQL is pleased to introduce the Solo Written Quiz – 150 questions covering a breadth of topics from around the world. This individual quiz will be held in multiple cities across the country (and a couple abroad!) and is to be attempted in 90 minutes. The question setting team will comprise Abhinav Dhar, Abid Abdulla, Ananya Upadhyay, Major Chandrakant Nair, Dr. Navin Jayakumar, Sania Narulkar, Siddhanth Rao and Venkatesh Srinivasan.
There is no entry fee, although a very nominal amount may be collected at some venues to cover printing costs.
