Dear Patron and Quizzer,

The annual fest of Quiz Foundation of India, Qfiesta was scheduled to be held on August 4th and 5th. Due to unavoidable events at the venue, we were forced to explore other venues at very short notice in a space of 2 days. Unfortunately, venues that would have suited an event such as a large open quiz, were not available on the dates of the Festival.

We are hence forced to postpone the quiz festival by a few weeks and would reconnect with all of you in with a new schedule at a new and better venue.

Our apologies for this unfortunate rescheduling. We hope to present a bigger and better Qfiesta in a few weeks’ time.

Thanks for your support. Hope we would see increased participation in the rescheduled Qfiesta.

Dear quizzers,

Now that you’ve survived — or perhaps skipped altogether — the Woodstock of quizzing, come along to QFIesta, the chill afterparty. We have everything you’re craving: quizzes that end while the sun still shines; full breaks for fullmeals rather than Swiggy orders of pizza; a sensible infinite bounce system; questions that are asked before the videos are played; and the balmy beach weather we know you love.

Our schedule of four quizzes over the weekend of August 4-5, 2018:

Saturday, August 4

9:30 a.m.: Only 20th Century Kids Will Get This (A general quiz by Pranav, Susa, Mario)

2:30 p.m.: That’s Entertainment! (An entertainment quiz by Vijay Sarathy, Priyambad, Jayakanthan)

Sunday, August 5

9:30 a.m.: Around The World In 80 Questions (A travel quiz by Dinesh Krithivasan, Siddhanth Rao and Abid Abdulla)

2:30 p.m.: The QFI Open (A general quiz by Kiran Vijayakumar, Manu Sudhakar, and Navin Rajaram)

Venue: Kavikko Convention Centre
No 6, CIT Colony Second Main Road, Mylapore, Chennai

Teams: Of up to three a piece

Entry fee: Rs 100 per team per quiz
